Event Details

Grand River OHS is hosting our second annual “Swing for Safety” charity golf tournament with proceeds going to Threads of Life. Threads of Life is a registered Canadian charity dedicated to supporting families after a workplace fatality, life-altering injury or occupational disease. Find out more: threadsoflife.ca We have lots of local support including a Beer Sampling hole by Upper Thames Brewing, Media support from 104.7 Heart FM (they will also be on site), and all marketing and branding provided by our good friend, Kristen Jerry, at Creative Atmosphere. Last year we had Argo ATV running a hole-in-one cost to win one of their Scout Amphibious ATVs and another hole was a chance to win a Broil King Smoker. Golfers will enjoy free Sausage-on-a-Bun before the round sponsored by Piller’s Finer Meats, 18 holes of golf with a cart, and then a full dinner catered by Chefs Jed Lau and Nate Hunniford at East Meets West Catering. Cost is only $75 per golfer, and the tournament is open to the public. We also have lots of Sponsorship Opportunities and need prize donations for the raffle draw which helps us raise money for the charity.

Date: Saturday June 2nd, tee off at 1:30PM
