This program aims to improve mental health literacy, and provide skills and knowledge to help people better manage potential or developing mental health problems in themselves, a family member, a friend, or a colleague.
Teaches participants how to:
Recognize signs and symptoms of mental health problems
Provide initial help
Guide a person towards appropriate professional help
This group will run for 4 Wednesdays, starting May 8:
May 8, 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
May 15, 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
May 22, 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
May 29, 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Certificates are provided to attendees who complete 12 hours of training.
You must be 18 years and older to attend this program. Facilitators certified by Mental Health Commission of Canada
Cost: $175 for 12 hours of training (student rate available)
