This program aims to improve mental health literacy, and provide skills and knowledge to help people better manage potential or developing mental health problems in themselves, a family member, a friend, or a colleague.Teaches participants how to:Recognize signs and symptoms of mental health problems Provide initial help Guide a person towards appropriate professional helpThis group will run for 4 Wednesdays, starting May 8:May 8, 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM May 15, 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM May 22, 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM May 29, 6:00 PM – 9:00 PMCertificates are provided to attendees who complete 12 hours of training.You must be 18 years and older to attend this program. Facilitators certified by Mental Health Commission of CanadaCost: $175 for 12 hours of training (student rate available)
